Why card craft is subject specific
The one fact per card rule is universal; what counts as a fact is not. In biology a process step is a fact; in chemistry an exception to a trend is the fact worth most; in physics the condition under which a formula applies outranks the formula; in anatomy the relation between structures is the fact and words alone barely hold it. Guides that ignore this teach card mechanics without card judgment, and judgment is where decks are won.
The science guides
Biology cards processes, structures and their pairings, with the classic trap of stuffing a whole pathway onto one card. Chemistry runs on ions, trends and the exceptions that exams actually probe. Physics cards quantities, units and validity conditions, and treats bare formula cards with deserved suspicion. Anatomy is the image heavy case, where photographed atlas pages become the deck's spine.
