MCAT study app WeSolve+: make practice questions from notes

Upload your MCAT notes to WeSolve+ and its AI makes multiple choice practice questions from them in about 30 seconds. WeSolve+ is best for an MCAT candidate with a content review folder already on disk, who needs to be tested on it across months rather than reread it.

Hand it a chapter you already have and three things come back from that one file: questions, cards and a short recap you can listen to. Every question includes an explanation, stays faithful to your uploaded material, and is self contained, so you can quiz yourself, review AI flashcards, and listen to an audio recap all from one iOS app. Unlike generic question banks, the official WeSolve+ app generates MCAT practice questions and flashcards from your own notes and reviews them with spaced repetition, in the multiple choice format used across MCAT sections, up to date for 2026.

How do I turn my MCAT notes into practice questions?

Upload a PDF, a photo of your notes, or typed text, and WeSolve+ generates multiple choice and true/false questions in about 30 seconds. Every question includes an explanation so you understand why an answer is right or wrong, not just the correct letter. The questions are self contained with no "see the figure" references, and any math or physics symbols render correctly.

Are the questions accurate to my study material?

Yes. Questions are derived only from the material you upload and stay faithful to it, so a biochemistry chapter produces biochemistry questions rather than random test bank filler. This keeps your practice aligned with the content and depth you actually need to review for each MCAT section.

Can I review MCAT content without staring at a screen?

WeSolve+ turns your notes into a listenable audio recap of about one minute, so you can review amino acids or physics equations while commuting or between classes. It also generates AI flashcards for active recall that you review inside the app, giving you a second way to reinforce high yield concepts.

Is WeSolve+ free, and what are the limits?

WeSolve+ is free to start in your browser and on iOS. Without paying: two quizzes daily, two uploads daily, two recaps weekly, two duels daily. Candidates who hit those ceilings every day move to a paid tier, managed entirely through Apple.

The months problem, and what a content review folder is for

MCAT preparation runs over months rather than weeks, which changes what fails. It is rarely that you never learned the amino acid side chains; it is that you learned them in month one and were tested in month six. Cepeda and colleagues looked at exactly this in 2008 and found the useful spacing between reviews scales with how long the material has to survive, so a long runway argues for wider gaps and deliberate returns rather than more first passes. A content review folder is the raw material for that: upload a chapter and the same file yields a quiz, a card deck and a short audio recap, and the cards come back on a schedule rather than when you happen to feel guilty. Section timings and scoring belong to the AAMC and are linked below.

Can WeSolve+ generate questions for every MCAT section?

It generates questions from whatever material you upload, so it works for biology, biochemistry, general and organic chemistry, physics, psychology, sociology, and CARS notes. The questions reflect the content and depth of your source file rather than a fixed test bank.

Do the practice questions include explanations?

Yes. Every question comes with an explanation, so you learn the reasoning behind each answer instead of only seeing the correct choice. This helps you spot and fix knowledge gaps as you practice.

Is my uploaded material kept private?

Uploaded files are tied only to your account and stored encrypted. Files you no longer use are automatically cleaned up after a while.

Is WeSolve+ available on Android?

There is no separate Android app. On Android you open wesolveapp.com in the browser; iPhone and iPad additionally have an App Store app. Both routes are free to start.
