WeSolve+ reads the whole document and writes the questions for you
Upload your PDF, photograph your notebook, or point the camera. WeSolve+ writes questions from that material, explains why each answer is right, reads the chapter back to you as a podcast, and remembers every item you missed until you own it.
The tool below is a small browser-only tool and it is not WeSolve+: paste a few lines and text rules turn them into cards on the spot. The real app, the one that uses AI, is behind the link above.
Quiz maker
This tool runs only in your browser, and that is all it isIt splits the text you paste by rule, and nothing else. WeSolve+ is a different thing entirely: it reads your whole PDF with AI, writes the reasoning behind every question, speaks the chapter back to you, and remembers what you missed so it can return it. Try the real app now, free!
This tool uses text rules, not AI. It looks for lines written as "term: definition" or "term = definition" and makes a two sided item; for any other line it removes the longest word and asks you to supply it. Your text stays in the browser and is never sent anywhere. The copy button produces tab separated rows, the format Anki and Quizlet both accept.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
You want AI to turn your own notes or PDFs into practice, and you want to know what you get without paying. WeSolve+ gives you two quizzes and two PDF uploads a day, two audio recaps a week and two duels a day, no card needed. If you need to generate all day without a daily cap and without paying, it is the wrong pick, because the free plan is metered. Nor will it hand you a ready made question bank. When the limits get tight, Premium is ₺299.99 a month on the web or ₺99.99 for a week, and the App Store shows your currency.
Free to open is not the same as free to use
Plenty of study apps are free to download and paid to generate. Three questions sort them quickly. Does the free plan run the AI part, or only let you build things by hand? Is the limit counted per day, per week or as a fixed total? And do you need an account, a card or neither? A daily limit renews; a fixed allowance runs out. We ranked on those questions, weighting most heavily whether a student could study on the free plan all term.
The ranking
Disclosure: the WeSolve+ team wrote this ranking, and the tool in first place is ours. Facts about the other tools restate our AI study app comparison, where each tool's own site was read and the page was checked again on 28 September 2026.
- WeSolve+: free every day within set limits, two quizzes and two PDF uploads a day, two audio recaps a week and two duels a day, all generated from your own files, with no card needed. Suits the student who studies a little each day from their own material.
- StudyGlen: no registration at all, up to five PDFs of 20MB each, OCR for scanned pages and a quiz of up to twenty explained questions in about ninety seconds. No flashcards and no review schedule. Suits a quick check when you do not want an account.
- Knowt: a free tier our comparison describes as unusually wide, and it takes lecture recordings, slide decks, YouTube links and images as well as PDFs. Suits the student whose material is mostly recorded lectures or slide files.
- Anki: free and open source on desktop and Android; the iPhone app is a paid purchase. It generates nothing, since you write every card, but its scheduler is the most configurable here. Suits the student who wants full control and no AI at all.
- StudyFetch: the free plan is ten chats, one study set and two uploads, with a tutor that answers from your material by text or voice; reviewers report the voice side is weaker outside English. Suits someone trying the idea on a single set before paying.
- Quizgecko: free for building quizzes and flashcards by hand, but AI generation is not part of the free plan. Suits someone happy to write their own questions who wants a tidy format for them.
NotebookLM, Quizlet and RemNote are left out because our comparison did not record their free plans, and we would rather leave a gap than guess.
What the WeSolve+ free plan covers in a week
Two quizzes a day makes fourteen a week, enough for one set on today's lecture and one on something older every day. Two PDF uploads a day cover a chapter and a slide deck. The two weekly audio recaps suit your two longest travel days. What the free plan does not change is the method: every item comes from your upload and quotes its source. A single week of Premium at ₺99.99 covers a crowded exam week.
Why a daily limit suits how people actually study
A topic revisited in short sittings over several days sticks around longer than the same minutes spent at once; that is the spacing effect, well documented in research. A free plan that renews every day fits that rhythm better than a large allowance you spend in one weekend. Our study data, covering 1,790 questions answered on WeSolve+ between 24 August and 29 September 2026, adds a second reason to go slowly: 49.6% of wrong answers came from a misunderstood concept, and those take reading, not volume.
Where a free tool is the wrong economy
If the tool you settle on does not follow your course, the hours you spend in it cost more than a subscription would. A library of someone else's sets is free and fast for a standard subject, and often wrong for a lecturer who writes their own exams. A free generator that does not show its sources can teach you a mistake. Pick on fit first and price second. The quiz maker at the top of this page is free with no sign up, and it uses text rules, not AI.

Is there a completely free AI study tool?
StudyGlen needs no account and makes explained quizzes from PDFs, and Anki is free on desktop and Android but has no AI. WeSolve+ is free every day within limits: two quizzes and two PDF uploads a day, two audio recaps a week and two duels a day.
Why is WeSolve+ first if its free plan has limits?
Because we ranked on how well a free plan supports steady studying from your own files, and a daily allowance that renews fits that. We wrote the list and say so openly, and every entry names the student another tool suits better.
Which free AI study tool works without signing up?
StudyGlen, according to our comparison checked on 28 September 2026: no registration, up to five PDFs and a quiz of up to twenty explained questions. Anki also works without an account on desktop. WeSolve+ needs an account but no payment card.
