This tool uses text rules, not AI. It keeps a numbered question whole with its options rather than splitting them into useless fragments, matches an answer line such as "Answer: A" to the question above it, and otherwise leaves the back of the card empty. It does not solve anything, and that is deliberate: a helper that hands you the answer removes the only part of homework that teaches you something. Your text stays in the browser and is never sent anywhere.
One question decides whether you are allowed to do this
Ask what the homework is being marked for. If it is marked for the answer, as with a graded problem set that counts toward a module, then getting the answer elsewhere is the thing your institution defines as misconduct, and the definitions are public: see the International Center for Academic Integrity and the general treatment of academic integrity. If it is marked for practice, as with an untracked exercise set before an exam, the answer is worthless anyway and only your ability to produce it counts. Most policies now name AI assistance explicitly and most of them turn on disclosure rather than on prohibition, so the safe move is boring: read your own course's wording before you paste anything, not after.
The worked example is the legitimate use, and it has rules
Studying a fully worked solution genuinely beats struggling unaided when the material is new, which is one of the better replicated findings in instructional research, the worked example effect. The mechanism is load: a novice who has no schema for the problem spends everything on search and has nothing left for the structure, the argument set out in cognitive load theory. The rule that comes with it is fading. Worked examples help early and stop helping once you can do the steps, at which point they become a way to feel competent without being tested. Alternate them: read one solved, do the next unaided, and the moment the unaided one works, stop reading solutions for that problem type.
Where a model is unreliable, specifically
Three failures show up often enough to plan around. Arithmetic and unit conversion inside a longer chain, where the method is right and one step is silently wrong. Citations, where a plausible author, year and title are produced for a paper that does not exist, the failure called hallucination. And confidently reconstructed method, where the answer follows a standard approach that your course does not use, so the working is marked wrong even where the number is right. None of these look like errors while you read them, which is the problem: fluent text produces the fluency heuristic, where ease of reading is mistaken for correctness.
Checking an answer you did not derive
Four checks, in order of how much they catch per minute spent. Substitute the result back into the original condition, which catches most arithmetic slips outright. Check units and rough magnitude, because a plausible method with a wrong power of ten is common and obvious once you look. Redo the single step you understood least well, rather than the whole chain. Then explain the solution aloud to nobody in particular, the technique programmers call rubber duck debugging, which works because the gap in your explanation arrives before the gap in your understanding does. Explaining to a person is stronger still, since teaching the material forces the organisation that reading never demands.
Help at the right level, which is just above where you are
The useful size of a hint has a name. Vygotsky's zone of proximal development is the band of problems you cannot do alone but can do with support, and support that lands outside that band is wasted in both directions: a full solution to a problem you nearly had removes the learning, and a cryptic nudge on a problem you have no footing in removes the confidence. Scaffolding is the practice of giving the smallest hint that unblocks you and withdrawing it as soon as it is not needed. In practice ask for the next step only, never the answer, and ask for the principle before the step. The reason personal help is worth this much care is Bloom's two sigma problem, the finding that one to one tutoring moved average students far up the distribution of a conventionally taught class.
Turning tonight's homework into next month's revision
A finished problem set is the best revision material you will ever have, and almost everybody throws it away. The questions were chosen by whoever writes your exam, they are pitched at your level, and you already know which ones hurt. Keep the ones you got wrong in their own pile, since deliberate practice is defined by working at the edge of failure rather than repeating what already works. Does the tool solve my homework?

Is anything I paste uploaded?
No. The tool is a script on this page and makes no network request, which you can confirm in the network tab. Closing the tab ends it.
Why does it keep multiple choice options with the question?
Because splitting them produces four meaningless cards. The question and its options are one item, and an answer line such as "Answer: A" beneath them is matched to it.
When is a worked solution the right thing to read?
Early, when the material is new and you have no method to apply. It stops helping once you can do the steps, and after that it mostly produces the feeling of competence without the test of it.
How do I check an answer I did not derive?
